I will be asking for examples of your work. I'm looking for this to be a download/box product and not necessarily web-based, but I'm open to different formats.

Rebellious is a project I have been working on for a couple of weeks now. I have been developing the storyline and various maps for weeks now all on my own and now I am looking to form a team.
We hope to bring a demo out soon to get people exited about Rebellious and things are looking good but not really professional , I need a team of game developers to help out and to make my dream a reality!

Rebelliouse is a RPG about the recession gone horribly wrong in Ireland. Revolution has struck the land and the cities teenagers have formed a paramilitary called the (T.A)Teenagers Alliance. They fight for the "New Irish Goverment" along with the I.R.A against a force sent to Ireland by the UN called "NATO Ireland". The maps will include Dublin's suburbs and Inner city.

Sea level simulator

Hey guys, how are you?

I don't know if this is the right forum but I would like to ask some motivated guys with a little spare time to develop a sea level simulator. I know there are some "sea level rise simulators" but they don't really do the job and honestly are just a bunch of crap in my opinion.

What I'm talking about is a functioning piece of software that is based on real topographical data to allow the user to either rise or decline the sea level by any amount. I couldn't find any software, so I was hoping someone with a slight geographical interest would take some time to develop it.

I'm not a programmer and have no real experience whatsoever and wouldn' take part in the coding, but I would try to organize and provide every ressource needed to do this and who knows, maybe the ones making it come through can find a market for it in universities or something.

This is not a "real" job offer and has no payment worth mentioning involved in it, I just wanted to throw out the idea and see who responds and maybe likes to work on it from time to time.

Also if you think there is a suitable software for me to use, please ignore the above and redirect me to where I can get the program.

Small team looking for programmers on FPS game

Hello,
We are looking for programmers to join our small team. We are working on FPS game which is taking place in near future. We are developing inhouse engine and level editor and are in need for programmers. You will be responsible for developing various parts of engine and level editor. At this moment most attention needs:

- script and battle system (Lua) (there's some foundation for AI, like pathfinding),
- sound system (basic functions implemented, you could use it to develop whole system quite easy),
- some plugins (implementing additional 2d/3d formats),
- you will work with other programmers (so far me, but I hope more will join soon), discuss designs and specific problems, get feedback from artists, etc.,
- tweaking editor's UI,
- other tasks (depends what suits you best, of course I don't want you to do all tasks simultaneously).

This project is unpaid, so far we don't have much funds and our team is still shaping, but we are decided to put commitment into it (engine was developed for several months already). Your work will be considered as volunteer/experience as long as we don't get funding.

Target systems: PC/Windows
Technology: C++/Lua/OpenGL/Cg (+WinAPI for editor)
Gameplay type: single player (maybe at some point we'll consider multiplayer, but so far we're focusing on SP)

What we use:
- own inhouse engine and level editor,
- shared dropbox account,
- private forum.

At some point you will be asked to sign NDA.

Current team members:
me: project coordination, code, 2d and 3d art and other things,
4 x concept artist,
1 x 3d artist/modeller + 2 x 3d artists are being tested

Ps. We are also looking for a webmaster (nothing fancy, simple site to produce and maintain [html for starters will be enough], possibly manage our social media accounts, SEO will be a plus).

Phar Lap Linkloc Needed

Hello, I am working on a project right now the was written for Phar Laps Linkloc 4.0 linker compiler. I have not been able to find a copy of it anywhere. The reason I need this compiler is that the original code was written for Linkloc is because the code is running a custom board with a 8086 on it. I have tried a few other linkers with no luck. So if anyone has a copy please let me know I would be willing to give some kind of cash reward if I can find a copy.
